I’m amazed at how the timing of my one year Bible reading plan is so very relevant to the season of life my husband and I are in right now. It’s one of those, ‘Dear God please let this be a season that will end in .02 seconds’, kind of a season. This season involves a lot of pain and heart ache. It's filled with loving someone deeply while letting go and holding to sacred ... Read More »

Going rogue on God
"But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel did not obey me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own plans. If only my people would listen to me and Israel would follow my ways, I would quickly subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes." I am "Israel" in the sense that I don't always obey and follow God. My heart's desire is to ... Read More »
Star-breathing God
The fact that we have a star-breathing God blows my mind. Ya'll think about this for a minute. God, with words coming out of his mouth created the heavens and by his breath all the stars were born. That's incredible. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+33%3A6&version=NIV When I woke up this morning I was heavy hearted over a situation that seems it will ... Read More »
It’s a lifeline

(You could put a Princess Bride twist on the phrase it if you wanted and say it like ninja Wesley as he rolls down the grassy ... Read More »
Well Hello Again

But I am glad to say He remains Faithful as always. He has shown up right beside us in ways that are nothing but evidence of His walking with us and acting out. I mean that as good - in a showing ... The Story of 5 Girls
5 Girls is a teen girl discipleship group I'm involved with. We meet every Thursday morning at 7am at a local coffee shop and talk life and God. It's time of accountability and sharing and looking to scripture as our guide. There is also a 5 Guys group which has been meeting longer than any of the groups. My husband leads a group and our youth pastor leads a group as well. ... Read More »
